Zack is getting better and his wound is healing nicely He’s not too bothered about being fussed by humans though. I went to see him and kept trying to pet him, but he just walks on by, like ‘meh’… His skin is getting better and he has a healthy appetite, so he’s slowly putting on weight. He’s getting regular medicated baths for the dry skin. Hopefully he’ll be able to come home soon.

Zack is still at the vets receiving treatment for his skin and the hole. I know he doesn’t look amazing, but he is so much better than he was last week. The hole is completely clean now and just needs to dry and heal. His skin had huge, thick cracked dry patches which are now gone, thanks to the medicated baths. He has dry skin around his eyes, but this will clear up soon. He even has fur now! What a difference a week can make.

Zack, the lovely dog we rescued a few days ago is doing well. The vet just messaged to let me know, not only is he doing well, he’s also very smart! He managed to open his own cage this morning and was found having a little wander around the garden. Zack is on antibiotics and had Bravecto yesterday. Today he’ll have a medicated wash for his skin. Thank you to all who donated to help.

One of the team has just picked this poor dog up and taken him straight to the vet. He’s on his way now. The hole is very infected with maggots inside. He has severe mange and is extremely malnourished. I have forwarded to the vet to do everything possible to help him.
