Little update on Niko. The vet says she’s been a little more upbeat today, but no change in her blood test results. She’s still in a critical condition. We’re hoping the antibiotics and IV treatment start to work.

Niko update: Just had a message from the vet to let me know Niko had a seizure this afternoon and is likely to have more because of her kidneys failing. So worried about her. We’re hoping the IV treatment works and she has the strength to get fit again soon.

A little update on Niko: This morning her appetite is good. They’re going to give her another blood test on Friday to see if there’s enough improvement to allow them to do the scaling. Fingers crossed!

Today we took our little Niko to the vet because her appetite has dropped. I thought she may have tooth trouble, but it’s ulcers on her gums. I’ll screenshot their findings, but the bottom line is, she has kidney failure.
We’re hoping they’ll do everything possible to make help her. She had a really rough start in life. With us she’s been fighting fit and looking great, only to be hit by this.
Please help us to pay for her medical bills and send her positive vibes.
We have to get her better!
