It’s with a broken heart, I have to break the sad news that our Champ died during the night.
Champ was one of our very first rescues. Anyone who has been with us from the beginning will know what a superstar he was. We found him in a ditch, in a very poor state and didn’t think he had much chance of surviving past a few days, but Champ decided otherwise. Having his hind legs amputated was no obstacle for Champ! He never let that stand in his way of chasing me, trying to nip my bum! He was full of life and character.
Although we are desperately sad that he’s no longer with us, we’re comforted by the fact that we gave him the best life possible and he really did make the most of it. Rest in peace, Champ. You were loved ❤️
